Considered by many as one of the finest private houses on the Kenyan Coast, Alfajiri overlooks the Indian Ocean and its elevated position ensures privacy and excellent views.
The Villas overlook Diani Beach, arguably one of the best in Kenya. The décor at Alfajiri comprises large glass windows, ivory Danish floors, wooden beams, Lamu doors and impressive African and Far Eastern artefacts. Accommodation consists of the following:

Beach Villa: 2 luxuriously appointed double bedrooms each with a bathroom. One of them overlooks the Indian Ocean, and the other the overflowing swimming pool. The 2 additional rooms, under the makuti roof, would provide exciting accommodation for children only. Please note there is no bathroom at this level, so children would share one of the 2 bathrooms below. All rooms have mosquito netting, the 4 rooms in the Beach Villa have no air-conditioning system. The Beach Villa is open all year round.
Garden Villa: 8 Guests can be accommodated in 4 large luxuriously appointed double bedrooms each with a large bathroom, all the rooms overlook the Indian Ocean. The rooms are air-conditioned with split-level units and mosquito nets. All the rooms have different interior decoration; the furniture and artefacts have been collected in different countries around the world. The Garden Villa is open all year round.
Guests at Alfajiri have exclusive use of the property. No other guest, belonging to another group, will be booked at the same time. There are meticulously maintained gardens, which boast a number of palms from Alfajiri’s own nursery. Two large gazebos housing huge hand-carved sofas dominate the front of the house. A sparkling swimming pool sits on the edge of a small cliff merging into the sea and the horizon. Alfajiri is a haven for seafood lovers, as fresh seafood is brought in twice daily. There is also a Mediterranean influence with oils, Parma ham and cheeses flown in weekly from Europe. The salads and fresh vegetables are bought daily from local farms and the fruit is handpicked from trees and bushes around Diani. A stay at Alfajiri includes snorkelling, massage and reflexology, windsurfing, a vehicle available for local excursions, and unlimited golf inclusive of green fees, caddie fees and use of golf clubs. An 18-hole golf course is ideally located less than two minutes away from Alfajiri. Diving, diving courses and deep-sea fishing can also be arranged at an extra cost. Alfajiri is closed annually between April and July, inclusive.
