Il Moran Governor's Camp is for those who want that extra bit of luxury and style far away from civilization. Hidden deep in the forest, ten tents line the winding banks of the Mara River. Each has a very private location and is furnished with beds handmade with wood taken from ancient olive trees. Large en-suite bathrooms have flush toilets, a lovely big shower with piping-hot water, and a Victorian bath where you can soap the day's dust away. Every tent has an extended veranda where you can take dinner in privacy or just relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of your natural surroundings. During the day meals are served under the giant trees. Cooked breakfast is barbecued before your eyes. Sumptuous lunch buffets satisfy the hungriest appetites and dinners by candlelight are a truly unforgettable experience. The thrill of a brush with Africa's big game is what brings people to the Masai Mara. Get up close to the big cats on a game drive in our custom-built four-wheel-drive vehicles. Take as many drives as you like, come face to face with nature in the raw on a walking safari or meet the people in a traditional Masai village.
