Mobile Classic Safari Camp affords travelers a Hemingway-style full service tented safari, which makes use of private campsites. Large canvas tents with wooden beds are set up in before your arrival in camp. Each 10 x 10 x 8 foot tent features two bed cots with 4-inch mattress and linens, wash basin, a bedside table and a kerosene lamp. African materials decorate the simple tents. Clients can enjoy the sense of security and comfort of insect proof large walk in canvas safari tents, wooden beds (King size available on request) with mattresses, crisp cotton sheets and warm wool blankets. Hot water bucket showers and long drop “loos” are located separately from and behind each tent. On arrival in camp you are greeted by your waiter with juice and depending on the weather hot or icy cool towels to wipe away dust. Cool beers await you at the dining tent or campfire. Delicious meals are served in the dinning tent. The mobile camp will have three different locations during the year according to the movement of the wildlife. Allowing guests to be located close to the Migration. From December to March the camp will be located in the southern plains, from May to August the camp will be situated in the central park and from August to November in the north, offering the guest the best experience of a traditional Mobile Classic Safari Camp. Nevertheless the location might change depending on the movements of the Migration. The camp allows guest to be “ there” just where the action is during the months of the Migration in Southern Serengeti.
