Nkwali Camp

Nkwali Camp overlooks the South Luangwa National Park. The land is superb for game viewing, with a beautiful area of ebony woodland and open grass plains. The thatched dining room is located quite close to a waterhole that often attracts game during breakfast, and from the bar, elephants can often be seen crossing the river. The chalets of thatch and woven bamboo are cool and spacious, overlooking the river. They are comfortable open-fronted airy structures with private bathrooms and thoughtful touches like bathrobes and sarongs. Access to the park is through the main entrance over the bridge, by way of a pontoon nearby. The area is famous for leopard and giraffe sightings. Daily activities include walking, game drives and night drives. While exploring the bush you are accompanied by professional safari guides, who take pride in sharing their extensive knowledge of the bush with you. Relax in the evening and enjoy a delicious dinner in the company of your fellow guests and guides.
