Ol Donyo Wuas

Ol Donyo Wuas in Masai means "The Spotted Hills", this is the name given by the Masai to the Chyulu Range, which runs between Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks. Ol Donyo Wuas is situated on the slopes of the Chyulu Hills, with exclusive access to a quarter of a million acres of one of the few remaining wilderness areas of East Africa. There are seven individual cottages and a central mess area, all built with local materials. Each of the seven cottages has an en-suite bathroom and open fronted veranda with spectacular panoramic views across undulating grass plains to the majestic snow-capped peaks of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Guests can plan their day choosing from a wide range of guided activities such as game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers, walking safaris and horse riding. Ol Donyo Wuas is situated on private Masai owned land, which gives opportunities for a personal cultural interaction with the landowners. After dark, a night game drive can be arranged to show you a more elusive nocturnal wildlife. From Ol Donyo Wuas you have the chance to experience a piece of Africa that has retained its integrity - Lion that still growl if you approach too close, vistas that go on to a distant horizon undisturbed and the luxury of experiencing it all to yourself!
