Day 1 - Day 2
  • Meet our local representative on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
  • Transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha Coffee Lodge (approximately 45 minutes)
  • Arusha Coffee Lodge is set in beautifully landscaped tropical gardens, with all the amenities and luxuries required for the safari traveller. Its 86 elegantly furnished, rooms provide guests with spacious ensuite bathrooms, satellite television, air conditioning, international direct dial telephone and wireless internet access. The Hotel boasts two restaurants, both of which offer contemporary, modern menus and an exclusive wine list to tempt the most experienced connoisseur. Guests can complete their meals with a warm cognac or brandy at Hatari’s Tavern (aptly named after the 1962 John Wayne film). The Arusha also has a souvenir boutique and gemstone store specialising in Tanzanite, a rare, semi-precious stone only mined in Tanzania. Guests can also relax in the tranquil massage centre or ease tired limbs in the large heated pool, after a long safari.

  • Day 3 – Full day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater

  • The Palms is a luxury resort situated along an unspoiled white beach on the East Coast of Zanzibar. It is the island’s only boutique hotel and offers the facilities of a five star private resort. The hotel is family owned and the hosts have thought of everything to make their guests’ stay exceptional. There are six massive villas available; each with all the comforts one could ask for (even a DVD lending facility, free of charge! While the resort doesn’t offer its own diving, sports and water sports facilities, activities such as tennis, windsurfing, snorkelling, scuba diving, and even shopping for antiques, souvenirs and African arts & crafts is offered at Breezes, their sister resort. These can easily be booked through hotel reception. The blue mosaic swimming pool is a popular venue for relaxation, as its poolside loggia and driftwood bar is only a few steps away and serves cocktails all day long (the resort also offers fresh fruit throughout the day). There are various private spots in and around the resort that offer an escape from the typical commotion of civilization.
