Tongabezi Lodge is a small, secluded lodge, 15km upstream from Victoria Falls, set in a tranquil grove of African ebony trees on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi River. Accommodation is in five luxury-tented cottages and in four spacious open-planned thatched houses. All rooms have magnificent views of the river with a private verandah and consist of either tented cottages or houses - Tree House, Bird House, and Dog House. Each house has unique architectural features, four-poster double beds with large airy mosquito canopies, en suite bathrooms, flush loos with views, running hot and cold water (shower and bath). Activities available from Tongabezi include visits to Victoria Falls, Livingstone museums and markets, swimming, lawn tennis, croquet, birding, fishing, boating, canoeing, walking, horse riding, white water rafting, bunji jumping, visiting the local school and the Tongabezi shop (local crafts). In the evenings you enjoy gourmet meals and lively conversation.
