Combining several special camps in Zambia, we have put together an 11 night itinerary incorporating everything from boating on the Zambezi to walking in the remote wilderness of South Luangwa. You transfer by charter flight throughout, thus maximizing your time on safari. The safari begins in style on the banks of the upper Zambezi River adjacent to Victoria Falls. Islands of Siankaba is the most classic of forested retreats. Siankaba's seven secluded chalets, each with its unique and individually different view of the mighty Zambezi River, are linked by a foot bridge to a haute cuisine restaurant. Activities available during your stay include sunset boat trips, fishing, afternoon canoeing, visit to Zambian side of Victoria Falls, visit to Livingstone markets and the local Chief’s village. You continue onto South Luangwa and Kapani, an exclusive privately owned camp situated on a large lagoon besides the Luangwa River. From there you continue onto Nsolo - a romantic thatched camp, and then onto your last camp in the Luangwa Valley. Mchenja Bush Camp lies hidden in a shady grove of age-old ebony trees on the bank of the LuangwaRiver. Night drives with a spotlight are one of the highlights of the LuangwaValley giving the chance to see nocturnal animals such as Hyena, Porcupine, Civet, Genet, Honeybadger and particularly Leopard for which the area is now famous. You depart the SouthLuangwaValley by charter flight into the LowerZambeziValley. Chongwe River Lodge is situated on the confluence of the Chongwe and ZambeziRivers, directly opposite Mana Pools. The LowerZambeziNational Park is unspoilt with stunning scenery and varied wildlife. The river is a focal point for the abundant wildlife including elephant, hippo, buffalo, zebra, lion, cheetah, leopard and various antelope species.
